The Philosopher King 2.0 is Lord of his Temporal Domain, even if it is only a few acres. He started his channel mostly on a lark and frankly does not care what you think about it. If anything he says offends you, it brings him great pleasure knowing that there isn’t a single person you can complain to about it, because he does not rely on ‘big tech’ for his income or livelihood.
That said, he is gravely concerned about the state of the world and believes it is on the knife’s edge. People should prepare, and people should be aware. PK2 wouldn’t be able to sleep at night without doing his part to warn and inform people.
While he is interested in current events, he believes we need to take the time to understand how and why things got the way they are. Topics will include: crypto/finance, philosophy, society, government, ethics, religion, and theology.
Full disclosure: PK2 leans hard libertarian, but he is not an anarchist. The net effect is he can be considered a ‘conservative.’ He is critical of the ‘right’ for not holding true enough to its ‘limited government’ principles but he hates statists.
Regarding Crypto: as he explains frequently, his core interest is to escape the coming implosion of fiat. He will favor crypto-currencies which have some backing to it. For example, Kinesis. Referral Link.

Why ‘Philosopher King 2.0’?
The Philosopher King of Plato was essentially a dictator. Thousands of years later, we know from hard experience that no single person can wield power over other people without it falling into horrific abuse. Oligarchies are no better. The idea that ‘experts’ or ‘bureaucrats’ have the knowledge and/or wisdom to decide what’s best for millions of people is absolutely absurd. Most of them are dumber than a box of rocks.
There is no hope for us in any of these systems, if we at all desire freedom and not being accidentally killed by some well-meaning ‘liberal’ policy. What is needed is a new understanding and agreement on what is the ideal system: each person is equipped to manage their own affairs without the meddling of politicians and bureaucrats; voluntary associations of small groups of people are to be favored for almost every scenario.
In scenarios where larger organizational structures seem necessary (eg, defending against a foreign army), there should be iron clad ‘checks and balances.’ But this is not possible if people are ignorant and foolish. They must be thinkers. They must be willing to make decisions on their own and be willing to accept the consequences for those decisions, good and bad. Hence, each person should be a Philosopher King. Hence, Philosopher King version Two-Point-Oh.
And, if it actually matters to anyone, he actually does have his PhD in philosophy.
Whether or not that matters depends on whether or not you have any idea what the logical fallacy of ‘arguing from authority’ was all about.
P.S. the PK 2.0 does not argue with children. He reserves the right, in his sole discretion, to decide if the person arguing with him is a child.
